Everything happens for a reason

Back to photo this beautiful old house
now part of a school
battery back in the camera
my childhood playground
unchanged since then
a path well trodden
many many times before
just in time to catch a wedding
at the Catholic church
Don't you just love the ears on the horse on the right

Yeah. looks like the horses have differing thoughts on the whole thing.. the "keener" on the left and the "here we go again, oh please help me get through this day " on the right!!!
Horses have feelings too... ha

Oh I can't forget...amazing house and that door in the wall is gorgeous..
you lived around here as a child? then lived in Australia too?.. world wanderer you..

Thanks Gwen
I was born in Liverpool and we moved "across the water" to Wirral when I was six.
Almost all of my mothers family live in Australia - went out in the 1950's
These are places I visit regularly in my dreams
Have decided to explore this theme as we are studying the surrealists at the moment

Amazing gate photo! The texture is subtle. Love the horses and plumes!

Thanks Patricia
Just discovered this comment 20 days later
The door was in the wall next to a large gated entrance. Seemed fitting to capture the horses there that day. Some sort of an echo from the past.
