Once you start noticing them
they start noticing you

the seagulls escorted me up the road to work today
a light welcoming chatter
and some graceful low flying antics
one had what looked like a biscuit (?) in it's mouth
male , female , who knows?
with my head at a 180 degree angle
who cares?
