Sid n Spring

Jimmy Osmond is in town
playing in Chicago (musical)
Meanwhile Liverpool FC are playing a very tactical game
against Chelsea
looking forward to the Easter break
already winding down
my Boss's leaving do's tomorrow
leaving me temporarily unsupervised for a while
is that wise?

Heartbreak Hotel

Been planning my trip
to London
(for India's course)
bought my train tickets
working on the accommodation
fancy a swim
so that may influence the decision
bit panicky about leaving the cats
but early Saturday morning
to late Sunday night
well it's hardly anytime really
my muse will pop in now and again
for company
poor little mites..

my muse has won tickets
to Eric Clapton at
the Liverpool Echo Arena in May!!!
from being a maudlin monday
things have certainly started to pick up

Dawn over Liverpool

we left the party late
with instructions from mein host
not to wander into any papershops on the way home
took these shots from outside my front door
on the balcony
(fire escape really- lethal in winter)
the neighbours cat spotted me
he likes to weave around my legs
on the stairs
also potentially lethal
final glass of wine
big mistake
plus chinese snax
ah Sunday

The Grand National

To continue with the horses theme
today we had the Grand National Horse race
from Aintree (Livepool!)
I went once
years ago
we stood by Beechers Brook
swore I'd never go again
not sure if I actually did (swear that is)
but I didn't like what I saw
beautiful horses though

goig to a 55th birthday party tonight
so better start getting ready
soon

The Monster that is me

Beautiful sunny day today
not that I had the eyes to see it
felt the heat of the sun on my way home
warming my bones up
lost inside my own head
definately not in the right frame of mind for work
Took the cares of the world with me this morning
Saw a fledgling in danger near a busy main road
the other fledglings flew down to support it

If you stare into the Abyss long enough the Abyss stares back at you.
