Great course today - got a snap of a bee on the way there
made three pieces of felt and then printed and dipped one in indigo
sprinkled it with silk slivers first
realising how addicted to colour I am
cats are being a bit bossy at the moment - but excessively cute too so i can't complain

Eventually I would like to make felt hats lined with handpainted or printed silks all done in natural dyes (and love). I did a millinery course some years ago and then to silk painting and now textiles. All the loose ends seem to be coming together now . Artistically speaking that is. I also find the blog format a great way to focus my ideas. Thanks for your thoughts - its great to find people with the same interests as myself KR Alison
