Saturn's day
Already wearing my dancing shirt
will have to be the new Prada T shirt later on
Completely soaked in Norse mythology now
(found a snoe shoe goddess)
am going to make a felt hat with a Viking and ice theme
if it turns out OK it will be my new Winter hat
well that's the plan...

to be or not to be...
my new books are in the post office waiting to be picked up
guilt is an ugly word
have another busy week ahead so textile and art stuff will have to wait for Friday
am not letting go of my snow bees though... no no no way
need to keep my vision clear in my mind and allow it to develop organically
may have to stop surfing for a while and focus
get out of my own way (so to speak)..

Mellow but mildly irritating Monday
Mmm...
Three gifts today
a pile of shells collected in St Lucia
a pear
and a caramel slice
what can it all mean?

An Autumnal Sunday
My mind is still full of little bits of cut up silks today
last week got so busy I never made it to the Courboisier exhibition
it is still on the list though
I did manage two whole days of doing arty stuff so life can't be too bad
Art is keeping me sane
For anybody who is interested (They) are in the bedroom sleeping on top of my clean laundry next to the radiator - cat heaven

Week 5 College
Friday, 10 October 2008
He doesn't know how much i love him
Another late night.
Great day at college. Did textile ice floes in cotton wool seas. And felt prows from viking longships plus a rice paper flower. Mmm snowflakes. Winter draws on :)
Charcoal outlines and glue.
Plus a gift (found object) from the flower arranging class of another hydrangea flower in the most amazing colours.
Being a true flower child of the sixties ( born Liverpool 1960) you can't get me away from my flowers very easily

Eyelines not skylines
Blogging facilities were a little restricted this evening and I still need to do some organising and printing for tomorrows class
Found Yoko's blog today online whilst looking for pictures of the ladders exhibition
maybe i can make a little textile ladder for the site. She has been advertising for people to bring their old ladders to the site.
Well it's conceptual and I love it
