So I don't gabble away on other peoples pages going to set up here to log my progress on my two concurrent courses. Patch work and Eco dyeing. Been gathering stuff. Making little books. Dye baths etc.
Sorting cloth for dyeing. Getting ready.

She's back

A fresh start. Things take time to fall back into place . I seem to have a thing about burning bridges. I got by with a little help from my friends. Well a lot really. Sometimes in life, when the time is right there is a shift. I'm going to take this one step at a time. Lost both my beloved cats to old age. I visit them sometimes in my dreams.
I really didn't want another cat but fate stepped in and sent another animal helper. I was in a bit of a bad way at the time.
Anyways this is going to be not so much about cats but she will make her presence known..
That's the re- introduction over really. For now.

A time to weep

Mum passed away on Valentine's day
but then she was always a sweetheart
and now I have to let her go

Catch up

Mother is in a virtual "5 Star" Hotel. Sid is on daily heart tablets, Suki is being a trooper - I am still drinking too much wine :( . Teenagers are driving me crazy- all creativity seems to be on hold. Lost my camera download cable. Would post Suki in ecstasy on the radiator, on top of my cardigan so she doesn't get burned. Found the cable

Christmas Post

Sorry Ladies
Miss you all
Mum's condition has deteriorated recently
since her third fall at
"the home"
She has the final stages of Alzheimers disease
and she is so lucid at the moment
She tells me she will walk again
but I am watching her dying
and I miss her already
can't post pictures of my Silver Jewellery
"He" is bringing out another book
and
they are his designs
after all
